"You are of God little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." 1 John 4:4 Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, "To everything, there is a season, A time for every purpose under Heaven." God has been saying and is saying even to this very moment that it is time for every Christian to stand-up and say that, "We need God back in our public schools once again!" The incident at Columbine High School made this very apparent. What I propose is that there be a Bible Study/Prayer class offered to the students who willingly choose to enroll in the class; without infringing on the rights of non-believrs. Just as art class students are seperate from math students, so would the students in this class be sepearte from everyone else. Only the students who willingly chose to be in there, would be. People who are against this say that we would have to allow every religion to pray to their god as well. To them I say, let the other religions pray to their god and we will pray to our God )the God of the Bible, the Father of Jesus Chrit). For when the smoke clears, everyone will see that our God is the one and ture God. This same scenario occured in the Bible; just read 1 Kings 18:19-40. We as Christians must come out of our comfort zones and stop worrying about what other will say if we take a stand for Jesus, for reinstating prayer in public schools. Will you serve God with boldness, or will cower away in fear. I say this to everyone who is reading this (especially Christians), "Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve....But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." | HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 | Just as a job pays, so do your sins. The wages of sin is death. No matter how many or how few sins you committ, you wage is still the same; death and an eternity in hell. But God offers us a gift; eternal life in His Son, Jesus Christ. Notice the Bible verse says, "but the gift of God." A gift is something that is free. We do not have to pay money for it nor do we have to do good works for this gift. The price is free because Jesus paid it all when He died on the cross for all of mankind. Apart from Jesus Christ you are seperated from God, and cannot have eternal life. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are headed for an eternity in hell. God wants you to spend eternity with Him, for the Bible says, "God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." All you need to do is be willing to turn from your sins. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out." (Act 3:19) Ask Jesus to forgive your sins and take control of your life. "If thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10) God offers you eternal life. Do not wait until everything is right in your life, because you will be waiting forever! Death is only a heart beat away. Now is the time to ask Jesus to come into your life. "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." (2 Corinthians 6:2) Is there any reason why you cannot accept HIs offer now? Does this prayer say what you want to say? "Dear Lord, I know I have done wrong and need to be forgiven. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to turn from them. I now confess You as Lord and Saviour of my life. Take control of my life, for I am turning it over to You. Come into my heart today and help me to lead a life that shows praise unto your name. In Jesus name I pray, Amen." Will you pray this prayer or express your thoughts in your own word? Ask Him into your life today.
